Gates open at 3PM. Park your trailer, then pick up your number, copy of the course & rider swag bag at the office.
Course is open for walking from 3-4:15PM. The course will be sent by email prior to the event so you can decide on your plan for the Gambler's Choice and copies will be available in the office.
This is a chance for you to school your horse over a couple of jumps ahead of the class. The audience will bid on the horse & rider team they think will will the main event!
You are the stars of the show! You will ride to your favourite song!
Our dinner guests will be enjoying their meal while cheering you on. Don't be afraid to wow them!
Celebrate a great night. The top 10 riders will be asked back for ribbon presentation and victory gallop.
Nibble at the desert table, finalize your silent auction bids and mingle with the audience while the DJ plays your favourite songs!
In this competition, each obstacle carries a points value according to its difficulty. Each obstacle can be jumped in either direction.
The rider is credited with the number of points earned by each obstacle that they have jumped correctly (no knock downs or refusals). No points are awarded for an obstacle knocked down.
Each competitor has 90 seconds. During the 90 seconds, they may jump all the obstacles they wish, in any order and in any direction.
Ringing the bell declares the end of the round. The rider must then cross the finishing line in either direction to allow their time to be recorded. If they do no cross the finishing line, they are placed last of the competitors with the same number of points.
After the rider’s time is recorded, they will have the option of jumping the “Joker “ jump. This is a high point obstacle that may be jumped only once. Points are awarded if this obstacle is jumped correctly, but if it is knocked down, points must be deducted from the total points obtained so far by the competitor.

Gates open for riders at 3PM. This event is unique because the horse and rider teams are the entertainment for the evening. Your horse show experience will consist of a course walk, followed by the Calcutta [optional] and then the main event. We ask that riders stick around for ribbon presentations and the victory gallop. We hope that you will join us in the tent after the horse show to have a celebratory toast and mingle with the audience. They always love to meet the athletes! The show portion of the evening is typically done by 8:30 PM and the DJ plays on after that!
The Calcutta is a major fundraising portion of the night. The audience gets to bid on the horse and rider combination they think will win the big class. 60% of the bids raised go to the charity. The other 40% is split between the successful bidders on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place riders in the evening class.
Riders are invited into the arena in small groups for a warm-up session ahead of the main event and are given the opportunity to jump a couple of the jumps on course. This is your chance to showcase your horse's talent to prospective bidders. We have a live auctioneer on site who will be auctioning you off to the highest bidder! We encourage you to show off as much as you can to get the highest bids possible!!
This is a chance for you to brush off your whites! Show jackets are required. Braiding is optional. Tack as per EC rules for a 1M jumper class.
We understand that with horses, you can't always predict whether you will be able to make it. Because it's a fundraiser, your entry is nonrefundable. Our goal is to field a roster of 30 riders, so if we have an entry on the waitlist, we will replace your entry and refund your money. If for some reason we can't do that, you will still receive the rider gift bag, which is valued at more than your entry fee.
